Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actor for children. In AT&T commercials on television, she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into the year 2020. Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to the family's financial difficulties the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit during her second year. Then, she earned a GED, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
